Jurisdictional Services for the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority -
D&A is assisting Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority in the implementation of its five-year plan of capital facilities projects. Our services include evaluating the feasibility of alternative sites and site plans for transit centers, park & ride lots and support facilities. D&A advises Capital Metro on jurisdictional issues: zoning, subdivision, site development, access to arterial streets and highways, utilities and drainage, and land use / transportation issues involved in development along urban and suburban thoroughfares.
D&A is well acquainted with CMTA's consultant team approach to its facility development projects. Duane Hutson, AICP is the project manager for D&A. For each Capital Metro project, Mr. Hutson is responsible for preparation and management of the task order budget, scope of work and schedule. He manages the firm's resources in research and report preparation, and coordinates jurisdictional issues identification and resolution with the client's consultant team for the project. We have coordinated with the agency's project teams since 2003 in various stages of site evaluation, planning, design and execution of projects.
