
John D. Doucet, P.E.
President & CEO
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors
Degree in Civil Engineering, John Doucet spent the early years
of his career managing complex public and private projects with
large engineering consulting firms in Texas and California. During
those years, he developed a vision for creating a different kind
of engineering firm
one that placed an emphasis on collaboration,
creativity and community among employees and clients. In 1992,
he brought his vision to life with the founding of Doucet &
Associates. Over the years, John's technical expertise coupled
with his personable and straight-forward style have helped draw
top talent to the company, and build an impressive client list.
As President and CEO of Doucet & Associates, John is responsible
for all civil engineering engagements and overall direction of
the firm.
John is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Texas,
California, Louisiana, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Connecticut,
Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

J. Keith Schauer, P.E
Vice President, Austin Division Manager
Keith Schauer joined Doucet & Associates in 1993, as one its
earliest employees. His 20 years' experience as a Professional
Engineer in Texas and California provide a solid background for
leading D&A's Austin Division. Keith has designed and directed
major residential, retail, commercial and infrastructure projects
and is known as a hands-on manager who stays personally involved
in projects from launch through close out. He has extensive experience
in all aspects of project management, including contract negotiation,
budgeting, scheduling, construction oversight, client satisfaction
and supervision of personnel. He is also responsible for the Quality
Assurance/Quality Control program of the firm. He holds a Bachelors
Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Joe Grasso, P.E.
Vice President
One of D&A's original employees, Joe Grasso, P.E., joined
the firm in 1992 following six years' experience working with
large Austin-based engineering firms. As a Vice President of D&A,
Joe is responsible for the Austin Division's single largest retail
account and directs a design team consisting of as many as 15
personnel. He is the main point of contact and oversees all aspects
of this Fortune 500 client's projects in the Austin Division including
out-lots and pad-sites of the anchored developments. Joe is an
expert at retail development and has extensive experience in public
sector work. Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
from The University of Texas and is a Registered Professional
Engineer in Texas

Steven G. Frost, P.E.
Managing Engineer, Austin Division
Steve Frost joined the Doucet team in 2000 as a managing engineer,
bringing with him a wealth of experience gleaned from 12 years
of successful engineering project management for commercial site
development projects across central Texas. Steve holds a Bachelors
Degree in Civil Engineering and English, and is a licensed professional
engineer in both Texas and California. Before joining Doucet,
he worked for 16 years with other Austin engineering firms, and
for the United Nations and relief agencies where he evaluated
road conditions in Nigeria, participated in the renovation and
conversion of public buildings for use as refugee centers, and
worked on the repair of war damaged water and wastewater systems,
schools, hospitals, and private homes in Croatia, Bosnia, Soviet
Georgia, and Tajikistan.
As a Managing Engineer in D&As Austin Division, Steves
focus has been boutique commercial, retail and institutional site
development for a variety of primarily Austin-based development
interests. Steves projects include planning, construction
and permit plans for shopping centers, office buildings, bank
and credit union sites, and a variety of fast food outlets.

Frederick (Tres) R. Howland III, P.E.
Managing Engineer, Austin Division
Before joining Doucet & Associates in 1999, Tres Howland worked
several years for the North Carolina and South Carolina Highway
Departments. There, he inspected roadways, performed bridge assessments,
and administered construction contracts. During his NCDOT tenure,
he coordinated the efforts of local emergency response agencies
and outlined a program to expand and fund future "Smart Highway"
capabilities.
In his capacity as a Managing Engineer in D&As Austin
Division, Tres is responsible for all aspects of a Fortune 500
casual dining retailers development projects across Texas.
Tres oversees a staff of up to six design professionals on a daily
basis. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
from Clemson University and is a Registered Professional Engineer
in Texas and South Carolina.
Carey Bresler, AICP, PMP
Client Manager, Austin Division
After receiving her Bachelors of Science Degree in Environmental
Design from Texas A&M, Carey Bresler joined D&A in 1998.
As a Client Manager in D&As Austin Division, Carey is
responsible for all aspects of one of the nations largest
independently-owned grocery retailers and its preferred
development partners development projects across Texas.
Carey holds the AICP accreditation from the American Planning
Association and the PMP accreditation from the Project Management
Institute, as well as being TxDOT pre-certified in several categories.
Davood Salek, P.E.
Managing Engineer, Austin Division
Davood Salek joined D&A in 1999 after receiving his Masters
Degree in Civil Engineering Transportation at the University
of Texas. As a Managing Engineer in D&As Austin Division,
Davood is responsible for all aspects of a variety of retail site
development projects throughout Texas. Additionally, he is the
Austin Divisions resident expert for transportation-related
engineering issues. Davood is TxDOT precertified in a number of
categories and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State
of Texas.

Jon Finley, P.E.
Managing Engineer, Austin Division
Jon Finley just recently joined Doucet & Associates, he has
over 10 years of experience in civil design for residential development
with firms in the Austin area, as well as owning his own development-focused
civil engineering firm. As a Managing Engineer in D&As
Austin Division, Jon is responsible for all residential development
projects. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Texas Tech
University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Stare
of Texas.

Jeff Barton
Manager, Austin Division Land Use & Planning Team
Jeff Barton joined Doucet & Associates in 1999, as Manager
of the Land Use & Planning Team. Prior to joining D &
A, Jeff was an active proponent of smart land development as a
county commissioner, consultant to counties and sought-after speaker
on land use and land planning topics. Under Jeff's leadership,
the Austin Division's Land Use & Planning Department specializes
in securing entitlements, facilitating communication between clients
and local entities, and land planning. Well-versed in commercial
development, large-scale residential planning and regional land
planning issues, they have helped clients win contested zoning
cases, secure grant funding and create workable development ordinances.
Jeff has been leading proponent of smart growth initiatives. His
leadership includes:
