Austin, Texas
Deep in the heart of beautiful Central Texas, our Austin headquarters
make an ideal location for servicing clients throughout Texas and
the Southwest. There's always something exciting happening in the
state capital of Austin, whether it's live music on renowned Sixth
Street, University of Texas athletics, world-class theater productions,
or boating on Lake Travis. Don't be surprised to stumble upon a
movie film crew on location, or pass home-grown cyclist Lance Armstrong
and team training along one of our scenic Hill Country roads. Austin
is hip, trendy, culturally rich, politically charged, and eclectic.
Visit us once, and you'll see why most folks never want to leave!
D&As Austin Division is under the leadership of Vice President
Keith Schauer, P.E. In 2003, we relocated to our current, larger
facilities in southwest Austin with meeting rooms, video and teleconferencing
and convenient accessibility for all directions.
Northampton, Massachusetts
In 1997, D&A added its New England Division office in Northampton,
Massachusetts to better serve clients in Massachusetts, Connecticut,
Rhode Island, Vermont, New York and New Hampshire. Originally opened
at the request of a long-time client and Fortune 500 retailer, Doucet
& Associates Northampton office has become the engineering
and planning firm of choice for local municipalities, school districts
and corporate clients across New England and the northeast.
Northampton is rich with history, scenic beauty and all the charm
you'd expect from a small New England city. Northampton is in the
heart of the Pioneer Valley, and features one of the most vibrant
downtown centers in New England offering a unique blend of retail
shops, restaurants and cafes, art galleries, museums, clubs and
theaters. Home to prestigious Smith College, Northampton is located
within the New England Knowledge Corridor an interstate region
linked by the Connecticut River and Interstate 91, Greater Springfield
(MA) and Greater Hartford (CT) which offers an international airport,
a rich industrial and cultural heritage, and New Englands
second largest education and economic center. Founded in 1654, Northampton
has a storied history that includes the Shay's Rebellion of 1789
as well as being the professional home of President Calvin Coolidge,
who served as Northampton's mayor from 1910 to 1912. Its 30,000
residents make up an eclectic mix of artisans, educators, writers,
entrepreneurs, outdoors enthusiasts and families seeking an alternative
to big-city living.
