Doucet & Associates. A different kind of engineering firm.

That’s what John D. Doucet envisioned when he founded Doucet & Associates in Austin, Texas in 1992. Not just a place to work, but a place to thrive. A firm where professionals serve clients in a new way. Where the fruit of our labor continues to build value for clients and bring clients back to D&A for years to come. Where employees feel they can truly create the difference for our clients, themselves and the communities in which we work. Creating the Difference was what John had in mind in 1992 and it is what drives the firm forward today.

Since our inception in Austin in 1992, D&A has seen our ranks grow to over 70, while adding offices in Northampton, Massachusetts (1997) and Roseville, California (1999). Our core services include civil engineering design and consulting, land planning and surveying. Our clients include Fortune 500 retailers, commercial, retail and residential developers, as well as numerous municipalities and jurisdictional entities. Our projects include large scale retail developments, residential developments, planned communities, commercial office buildings, schools, religious facilities, public utility and roadway design, regulatory review and policy creation.
