Austin Business journal – 2/21/2006 A variety of retailers will be a part of
a new San Marcos power center called Red Oak Village. Tenants in
the 305,850-square-foot center will be Sam's Wholesale Club, Bed
Bath & Beyond, Marshalls, Petsmart, and Ross Dress for Less.
Last May, the City of San Marcos approved a five-year tax break
for any improvements made on the 40-acre site where the project
is located, just south of the southeast corner of I-35 and Wonder
World Drive. Red Oak Village is scheduled to be complete in September.
